When you have a rough idea of what you want, we can then show you the myriad of different options available from the many manufacturers that we carry and display. Among the many options are; custom cabinetry, semi-custom, framed, frameless, inset, full overlay, melamine, laminate, thermofoil, polyester as well as glazed finishes. We carry all of these options and can discuss the benefits of why a particular style may better suit your needs. In addition to complete design services, we also offer the option of purchasing just cabinetry, appliances or fixtures on their own. Our knowledgeable staff can assist you in finding the right appliance to fit your dimensions, the right fixture to change, update or fit in with an existing style. Before you make an
appointment with one of our designers, it helps to have an idea of what style of kitchen
cabinets you are looking for, as well as any special features you would like to have. You
can clip pictures from magazines or come in and browse our full displays of complete
kitchens. Our design books, loaded with the photographs of complete kitchens we have done
for our other customers, can help in your planning process. If you have an approximate
budget in mind our designers will be able to focus on a realistic design.
Once you have
narrowed down all your choices to a style or two, the next step is layout and design. Your
designer will work with you to make the most of your space, or can design a space from
scratch if a complete renovation is in your budget. A layout of the kitchen will be drawn
that shows all the cabinetry, appliances, fixtures and countertops. This first drawing is
not usually the final one, but serves as a reference point for making changes and for
calculating a more exact, final price. Once all the details have been fine tuned and
hammered out and you are satisfied with the end result, a final drawing of the design is
drawn and presented along with a detailed contract.
